Harambee Stars will face Uganda Cranes in a friendly in Nairobi on March 22, officials have announced.
Football Kenya Federation (FKF) said the match will be played either at Moi International Sports Centre Stadium or Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi according to availability of the stadium.
Coach Stanley Okumbi will name a 25-man squad early next month and the players are expected to assemble at a date to be announced by federation in Nairobi.
The friendly will be Kenya’s first warm-up game this year, with the side scheduled to face DR Congo two days later in Nairobi and at a venue that will be decided later.
Kenya and Uganda last met in a friendly match played in Kampala in August last year in a game that ended 0-0.
Kenya and Uganda start their contention for places in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in June 2017.
Stars will be away to Sierra Leone while Uganda will open their campaign at home against Cape Verde.
