Wikki Tourists defender Abdullahi Musa is confident that they can turn the tables on their Caf Confederation Cup preliminary round opponents RSLAF FC after a 0-2 loss in Sunday's first leg.
Sam Kabba and Ibrahim Sillah scored in the first half for the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF) FC at the Siaka Stevens Stadium in Freetown to ensure that they took a two-goal lead into the second leg scheduled to be held in Nigeria on 19 February.
Musa, who played in the heart of defence alongside Peter Ambrose, believes that the second leg at their Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium ground affords them the chance to bounce back and qualify for the first round of Confederation Cup.
He also took time to talk about the defeat in Freetown.
"It is just the first leg and we didn't plan to go out there to lose," said Musa to supersport.com. "This is football and anything can happen. But we still have a chance to win at home and qualify for the next round, and we know it won't be easy to cancel two goals and then win it.
"We conceded two goals in the first half and the first came early in the game and it made it difficult for us as they played very well against us. Now the focus is on the second leg."
Wikki will now have to win by three clear goals to stand a chance of progressing to the next round.
